Shirley Muir set up Odyssey Communications in 2001 to serve clients in the oil & gas and other industrial sectors. With more than 20 years' experience in business PR she has delivered a range of services to clients across the UK, and has won awards for Best Employee Newsletter, two awards for Best Annual Report, and a member of her staff won Scottish Communicator of the Year award.
After working internationally for worldwide public relations firm, Burson-Marsteller, she headed up corporate communications departments in Fisons plc and John Wood Group plc. She has worked on public relations campaigns across the UK, Europe and in the USA, where she established a new communications function for Fisons Pharmaceuticals.
